History of City College

City College of Science & Commerce, Multan is a far-famed academic institution with a proud history of achievements, and ambitious plans for the future. The idea of establishing the City College took root in the mind of Ch. Waheed Ahmad, Managing Director, who is the guiding spirit behind the College. With his resilient efforts and patronage of the business community, academia and representatives of the government, started the establishment of what was to become one of the leading college of Southern Punjab (Multan), Pakistan.

Since its inception in 2009, City College has strived to achieve the aim of imparting quality education while encouraging research and intellectual growth in the country. As a result, City College has played a key role in setting high standards of academics and producing professionals who can compete with counterparts from any college across the country.

Over the years, City College also initiated BS (4-Years) programs in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, Psychology, Mathematics, English, Accounting & Finance and Economics in 2017 with the affiliation of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU). Since its inception the College has maintained its position as one of the finest College offering executive education in Southern Punjab. City College also initiated Master programs in Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Information, Psychology, Mathematics, English, Accounting & Finance and Economics in 2018.

As the years unfold, the college remains committed to offering new programs in relevant, emerging fields for the youth of the region.
